We recently replaced a system board in a Dell Latitude E6410. However, the person who typed in the serial number originally made a typo and now the machine reports in our tracking systems with the wrong info. Is there a utility we can can download to change the service tag info in the BIOS? I would hate to replace the system board all over again for something that could take 5 minutes instead of 1 hour.

It seems that the service tag was not updated. We have 2 options here. The first one is to run the Asset tag utility so you can enter the old service tag and the other is to replace the motherboard.
